Actions Happening Across the Victorian Private Sector
VAHPA is highly active across the Disability, Diagnostic, Primary and Secondary Care areas in the private and not-for-profit sectors. 2022 sees more bargaining than usual in these areas with all but a handful our Radiology workplaces in bargaining, along with several hospitals including St Vincent’s Private, St John of God, Cabrini and Epworth. In disability we have new agreements this year for NextSense, Dementia Australia and Noah’s Ark, and bargaining is ongoing at Yooralla.
In addition to existing agreements to be renegotiated, VAHPA has been active in seeking bargaining at workplaces without agreements including Banksia Palliative Care and DiagnostiCare, with more to come later this year.
